In today's changing times, it is important for a decision-maker to take all factors into consideration when selecting a contractor... while pricing is an important component... ot taking into consideration the reputation and expertise of the performing contractor often results in a less than desirable project.

Having said the above, we have compiled this profile to display the vast background and diversities of the family of organizations that comprise the Platinum Energy Group.

It is important to note that because of the vast experience level of our personnel, we tend to mobilize our people around the country where their specific skills cater to a client's needs. Personally, I have been in the industrial and commercial heating and power plant industry since 1968 and had the good fortune to develop my skills with global relationships.

I have listed here for your consideration only some of our capabilities and activities.
  • Design, install and service commercial and industrial power plant control systems.
  • We possess ASME and National Board Welding Certificates H, R and S, which enables us the ability to build, repair or alter low and high pressure vessels on a national level... see attached certifications.
  • One of our divisions is a Public Service Commission (PSC) E.S.C.O. corporation able to sell natural gas and electricity directly to commercial and industrial users.
  • We are one of the most prominent tank replacement and testing organizations in both New York City and Long Island, specializing in double-wall underground tanks as well as field fabricated, above-ground inside tanks...tank removal and repair as well as ground remediation is our specialty as well.
  • We have licensed electricians on our staff in most of the territories that we do business who have high discipline with regard to control wiring and instrumentation.
  • We are licensed in over fifteen (15) states to install commercial and industrial boilers, both low and high pressure, and performed over 3,000 installations over the years.
  • Five (5) years ago, in order to meet the needs of our clients, we began a very aggressive lighting retrofit department. Now, that division incorporates over thirty (30) people and caters to the most demanding institutions...see attached sample evaluation and proposal.

    Recently, we were awarded certification from the New York State Energy Department (NYSERDA) as a qualifying contractor.
  • For three (3) years in a row, we were dubbed the largest conversion contractor in KeySpan's territories of New York City and Long Island.
  • Our support staff incorporates two (2) professional engineers, each of whom has over thirty (30) years of mechanical equipment design and implementation.

    Our staff, equipped with the most advanced analytical test equipment, conducts non-destructive ultrasonic vessel evaluations to determine anticipated useful life and predictable repairs to the host vessel...which will enable the decision-maker to make an intelligent replacement decision...see attached sample report conducted at a major local hospital.
  • One of our divisions, MICROTherm, LLC, is a manufacturing organization that produces one of the most revolutionary fuel saving devices, conservatively saving 10-15% on large commercial and industrial boilers.
  • Recently, we acquired American Liberty Boiler Cleaning...a fifteen (15) year old company which rounds out our abilities to service our clientele.
It has been my focus, not necessarily to constantly grow our customer base, but more importantly, increase the opportunities with our existing customers. A brief description of each of our branches and their activities is as follows:

Platinum Plus Energy Resources, Inc.

Recognizing the needs to meet our client's energy budgets, Platinum Plus Energy Resources was formed to become a PSC certified E.S.C.O. group…now able to provide the most competitive utility rate to aid the spiraling energy costs.

Bain Heating & Piping Corporation

Bain Heating & Piping was established in 1945 and acquired in 2003. Bain predominantly performs in Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, servicing over forty (40) school districts, fifteen (15) hospitals, office building complexes, and many demanding industrial accounts. While administratively there is some separateness between Bain and SNS, the field crews are shared by both.

MICROTherm, LLC

MICROTherm, LLC was represented by SNS for four (4) years and then acquired in 2004. The corporate office is in Wellesley, MA and manufacturing of the MICROTherm unit is performed by an ISO9002 facility in Manchester, NH.

Platinum Energy Group - Philadelphia

The Platinum Group in the suburbs of Philadelphia was a part start-up and part acquisition of a small plumbing company. My managing partner, Wayne Grace, has over forty-five (45) years experience in large commercial facilities and operates a twelve (12) man operation.

Platinum Energy Group - Mid-Atlantic Division

With offices in Charlotte, North Carolina and a branch in Columbia, South Carolina, this most recent venture of ours has no doubt been one of the most exciting. Charlotte is expanding at neck-breaking speed and we are right there to cater to their needs. Two (2) of our management personnel were transplanted from New York to run this division. Presently, we have two (2) design/sales engineers and four (4) excellent technicians, each of whom has over twenty (20) years experience with the most advanced combustion control technologies.

In a little over a year we have acquired many prestigious accounts such as Tyson Foods, Lance Foods, eight (8) major State hospitals, the entire North Carolina prison system, and the Charlotte Mecklenberg School District, just to mention a few.

Once you have read the above and reviewed its enclosures, it should become immediately evident that we have excellent roots in this industry and our growth pattern illustrates our future directions to be a prominent source in the energy industry.
