Re: MicroTherm Evaluation

I have previously written to you with regard to a device called MicroTherm, a patented, UL listed advanced technology which guarantees a 10% savings on the cost of heating bills. MicroTherm is an affordable computer device which when properly installed will make nearly every boiler run 1010 25% more efficiently with no discomfort to building occupants and no additional responsibility for staff members.

The MicroTherm device is widely used throughout the country and has been well received by a number of pastors and administrators in the Dioceses of Brooklyn and Rockville Center as well as in the Archdioceses of New York and Newark.

Several facilities in our Diocese have successfully installed MicroTherms ...one of which was the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston. They had two MicroTherm devices installed and I have been advised by the staff of the Center that there has been "significant savings in fuel consumption" since its installation. Since the Center uses the same boilers for heating and air conditioning, a study combining the hearing and cooling degree-day figures for the period were used to calculate savings and even though there was an increase in the requirements for these boilers the results were over an 11 % decrease in fuel consumption.

Needless to say we cautiously got involved with MicroTherm to evaluate its effects in our facilities and now after a full heating season we are pleased with the results.

May I suggest that you consider the potential savings in fuel cost and call John Chester here at IS to arrange for an appointment with a member of the MicroTherm team to evaluate your needs.
