I must admit when you and Jason Schwartz made your presentation of microtherms to me I was skeptical. As you call appreciate, in my position I tend to be a target for dozens of products and/or services that claim savings or increased efficiencies. Over the years, I have had good fortune and sometimes misfortune to evaluate products for the benefit of the hotel.
As a director of engineering of this busy hotel, the last thing that I can tolerate is a compromise in occupant comfort. The confidence that you displayed in your product was contagious and now after six months of operation, I am proud to report an energy saving of at least 20% despite a slight increase in occupancy and water use.
Based on these positive results, I am planning on adding one additional microtherm on our heating boilers for the building. Thank you for the introduction of
microtherms, they do save gas.
